Review: At Any Moment

At Any Moment
At Any Moment by Brenna Aubrey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Having lost an aunt and a cousin to cancer, this story resonates with me not just because of personal experience. The painful soul searching journey Mia and Adam went through to find, forgive and heal themselves is so gut wrenching, real and thought provoking, that I’m moved to tears reading it.

Writing from the POV of the two main characters is a brilliant move. Some of the most tragic lines were also the most beautiful and honest emotions expressed, which made Mia and Adam believable and human, flawed and endearing.

To quote Adam: “None of us know when forever will end.” “What makes forever worth it is each day we live and enjoy being with each other. Each day we make each other’s lives better.”

Be forewarned and arm yourself with tissues for this tear-jerker, which is truly in a class of its own.
